The transmission mode of slurry pump

The slurry pump needs to be connected to the motor to generate kinetic energy to transport the material out. So what are the connection transmission modes of slurry pump and motor? The following NengLian  pump industry introduces several common transmission modes.

1. Coupling direct connection: This transmission mode is generally represented by the letter DC. This mode of transmission means that the motor and the slurry pump are directly connected by a coupling. Common couplings are claw couplings, pin couplings, and diaphragm couplings. Generally, we slurry pump manufacturers will choose the appropriate coupling according to the supporting motor power.

2 belt connection: This transmission mode refers to the motor through the belt pulley and belt power to the slurry pump. Belt connection is divided into CV transmission, CRZ transmission, CLZ transmission, ZVZ transmission, four transmission modes. The difference between the four transmission modes is that the pump and the motor are arranged in different directions.

CV transmission: In this transmission mode, the motor is installed above the bearing assembly of the pump. The pump and the motor have no common base, and the motor is installed through a small seat supported by bolts. This transmission mode is characterized by compact installation of pump and motor, saving space, suitable for limited site conditions. Because the motor is above, it can also avoid the motor water, causing motor damage. But if the motor power is relatively large, it is not recommended to drive this way. Because the motor power is large, its weight is relatively heavy, with this way of installation may not be very smooth, top heavy situation. Therefore, this transmission mode is generally only recommended for the use of small power motor.

CRZ and CLZ transmission: This transmission mode means that the motor is installed on the left or right side of the pump. From the direction of the pump inlet, if the motor is on the left side of the pump, it is CL transmission; if the motor is on the right side of the pump, it is CR transmission; if the pump and the motor are provided with a common base, the letter "Z" indicates. However, for large pumps, because of their weight and volume, in this case, the common base is generally no longer provided. This installation mode, especially because it is installed on the ground, runs more smoothly. But it also takes up a lot of space.

ZVZ transmission: This transmission mode is the same as CV transmission, which puts the motor on a high position. The difference is that this transmission mode has a common base, the motor is directly behind the pump, by increasing the base of the motor, to achieve the purpose of high motor. Because this transmission mode motor and pump orientation looks like the capital letter "Z", so called ZVZ drive. The characteristics of this transmission mode are similar to CV. Because the motor is at a high level, if there is water leakage on the site, the motor can be prevented from water, so as to protect the motor. This is no motor power size limit, regardless of the size of the pump and motor, can be used in this way of transmission.
